The Middle Mountain
Every investigation requires orientation.
Without orientation, observations accumulate without context. Without context, relationships remain hidden. Without relationships, reconstruction becomes impossible.
Throughout Earth: Day Zero, one observation repeatedly emerged: meaning does not arise from individual objects. Meaning arises from relationships among objects.
The mountain that ultimately came to symbolize this principle was Mount Everest.
Not because Everest explains Earth.
