What Remains Unresolved?
Every scientific investigation encounters limits.

The Incomplete Record
Earth's archive is vast.
It is also incomplete.
Entire crustal sections have been recycled.
Ancient oceans have disappeared.
Mountain systems have eroded.
Sedimentary records contain gaps.
Many geological relationships remain only partially preserved.
The Limits of Reconstruction
Throughout Earth: Day Zero, persistence, recoverability, verification, and synthesis repeatedly improved interpretation.
Yet uncertainty never vanished.
Questions remain regarding:
- Incomplete geological records
- Poorly preserved archives
- Competing interpretations
- Hidden subsurface systems
- Temporal resolution limits

These uncertainties are not weaknesses.

A completely solved Earth would be a scientifically uninteresting Earth.

The answer remains incomplete.
That is why the investigation continues.
