Regional Geological Context

Relevant regions include the Siberian Traps of Siberia, Russia; the Deccan Traps of Maharashtra, India; the Karoo–Ferrar system of South Africa and Antarctica; and the Central Atlantic Magmatic Province across eastern North America, northern South America, western Africa, and southwestern Europe.
