The preceding papers evaluated planetary memory across cratons, mantle structure, Earth–Moon constraints, and large-scale geological organization.

Major Observation Classes

  1. Archean cratons;
  2. deep lithospheric roots;
  3. mantle tomography;
  4. Pacific structural organization;
  5. Earth–Moon system constraints.

Current Status

The evidence supports continued investigation of long-duration information preservation while leaving mechanism unresolved.

Transition

The next sequence investigates large igneous provinces, flood basalts, and planetary-scale geological events that may preserve evidence of deep Earth organization.
